The words of the Apostle Peter in Acts 2 (verses 36-41) spoken to the people of Jerusalem, calls for their repentance in the name of Jesus and to be baptized for the forgiveness of their sins. Psalm 116 (verses 1-14) gives thanks to the Lord for deliverance from death and saving us, while we are surrounded with His goodness and love. The beloved and cherished story in Luke 24 (verses 13-25) of the Emmaus Disciples’ encounter with Jesus on the road telling them how the Old Testament foretold of His suffering and glorious resurrection.
