Compassion for Others

The Lord speaks to Moses in Leviticus Chapter 18 (verses 1-5) concerning how His people shall live following His commandments. In Psalm 41, David asks God’s forgiveness for past sins and protection from his enemies who seek his life. The Apostle Paul’s letter to the Colossians Chapter 1 (verses 1-14), prays for their faith to be strengthened and empowered by the Holy Spirit to spread God’s word just as we should in today’s world. The very eloquent parable of the Good Samaritan in Luke Chapter10 (verses 25-37) reminds us to be good neighbors, having compassion for others.
