Faith of a little child

Verses 18 to 20 in the 11th chapter of Jeremiah reveal the rebellion of Israel with God’s covenant, which brought His wrath upon them. Psalm 54, a song of David, asks God’s protection from his enemies and seeks vengeance against them who wish to do him harm. The piercing and direct words of James 3, verses 13 to 4:10 tell us to return to God in repentance and humility, forsaking worldly desires and temptations. The innocence and trusting faith of a little child is told to Jesus’ disciples in Mark 9 verses 30-37, indicating that this kind of faith is the only true path to heaven.

Please join us for worship- Sunday, 8 AM and 10:30 AM.  Attend Pastor’s Bible Study: Luther’s Small Catechism, Faith in Christ! Sunday 9:15 AM (Fellowship Hall).
