1 Kings verses 1-8 tell of Elijah’s fearful flight from Queen Jezebel after slaying the prophets of Baal. Elijah is visited by an Angel in the wilderness giving him the strength to carry on. Psalm 34 verses 1-8 likewise tells of David’s plea for God’s Angel to surround him with protection from Satan and his evil intentions. We are reminded in Ephesians 4 verses 17 to 5 verse 2 to become a new creature in Christ leaving behind all hate, malice and bitterness but instead seek truth, love, kindness and the righteousness of God. John 6 verses 35-51, once again, reveal that Christ is the Bread of Life.
