The Lord God invites everyone, as read in Isaiah 55 (verses 1-5), to come to His table of plenty and enjoy goodness, mercy and everlasting life. Psalm 136 (verses 23-26) praises God for His steadfast love which endures forever and protects us from those who wish to do harm. The Scripture reveals to us in Romans 9 (verses 1-13) of Paul’s regret and sadness concerning his Jewish brethren’s rejection of the Messiah, Jesus. Matthew 14 (verses 13-21) tells of Christ’s might and glory in the feeding of the five thousand.
