God speaks powerfully against the false prophets in Jeremiah Chapter 23 (verses 16-29) that lead His people astray bringing wrath upon them. A cry for God’s mercy and deliverance is read in Psalm 119 (verses 81-88) asking for His steadfast love and forgiveness. Hebrews Chapter 11 (verses 17-31) and Chapter 12 (verses 1-3) reveal that faith and trust in the Lord’s promises will keep us forever bonded to Him. Jesus’ earthly mission shall cause division and stress as read in Luke Chapter 12 (verses 49-53) but clinging to Him in faith shall bring eternal life.
