Israel’s anguish and fear are removed in Isaiah 35 verses 4-7 as God’s promises to save them bring joy and contentment to the people. Psalm 146 also tells us to be confident in the promises of salvation and life eternal, not relying on what the world offers us which is valueless. In James 2 verses 1-10, 14-18 our faith in Jesus without the result of doing good for our neighbor is worthless God’s sight. Jesus in His mercy and love for not only the Jews but Gentiles as well is miraculously demonstrated in Mark 7 verses 24-30, 31-37 when He removes a demon and heals a deaf-mute.
