God’s righteous commands

The people of Israel are warned by Isaiah in Chapter 29 verses 11-19 not to hide their secret plans from Creator God and in Psalm 14 we read of man’s corrupt nature and indifference to the Lord’s free gift of life and salvation through the merits of Christ’s humiliating sacrifice on the Cross. The Apostle Paul in Ephesians 5 (Verses 22-33) describes how marriage between husband and wife should resemble Christ’s love for His Church showing respect, honor, and sacrifice one for the other. Mark 7 (Verses 1-13) tells of Jesus’ confrontation with the scribes and Pharisees concerning their man-made rules rather than God’s righteous commands.

Please join us for worship- Sunday, 8 AM and 10:30 AM.  Attend Pastor’s Bible Study: Luther’s Small Catechism, Faith in Christ! Sunday 9:15 AM (Fellowship Hall).
