Psalm 66 (verses 1-12) tells us of God’s wondrous deeds for which we should thank and praise Him, remembering His goodness and faithfulness. God’s plan of salvation is specially brought to our attention in this season of Advent as we await the birth of our Lord Jesus at Bethlehem, bringing joy and thankfulness to all mankind and is further foretold in Luke Chapter 3 (verses 15-20) where we read of John the Baptist’s beautiful words concerning Jesus being greater than he, “Whose sandals I am unworthy to tie.” May our faith in the Lord be strengthened during this Advent season.
