Isaiah 25 (6-9) describes the richness of the great feast prepared for those who believe in God’s love for us. Psalm 23 speaks of comfort and protection to those who trust in God and His desire to save us from all evil. Paul’s letter to the Philippians chapter 4 (verses 4-13) inspires them to live a Christlike life, showing love to one another, gathered together in peace. In Matthew 22 (verses 1-14) we read of the wedding feast prepared by God for Israel’s people who reject the invitation, but is extended to the Gentiles who will now enjoy the Lord’s banquet in His Kingdom.
