The Prophet Isaiah in Chapter 2 (verses 1-5) presents the contrast between Jerusalem and Judah in his day with its many evils to God’s desire for it to be as perfect as His Eden was in the beginning of time. In Romans Chapter 13 (verses 8-14), the law shows us our weakness and inability to do good but with Christ’s sacrifice on the cross, our sinfulness is removed in the sight of God. Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem is recorded in Matthew 21 (verses 1-11) acknowledging Him as the long-awaited Messiah and King.
