Jesus’ ascension into Heaven

The reading of Acts 1 vs 1-11 describes Jesus’ ascension into Heaven to be with His Father and directing His disciples to be witnesses empowered by the Holy Spirit. Psalm 47 extols the total magnificence of our God and foretells the coming of Jesus to save His people. Paul, the great apostle, in Ephesians 1 vs 15-23 encourages the congregations to remain faithful and hold fast to Jesus the cornerstone of their faith. Luke 24 vs 44-53 also tells of Jesus’ glorious ascension into Heaven commanding His disciples that now they are to spread the Gospel throughout the world.

Please join us as we celebrate Christ’s triumphant Ascension into His heavenly home and also prepares a place for us!

Sunday, 8 AM and 10:30 AM.  Attend Pastor’s Bible Study! Sunday 9:15 AM (Fellowship Hall). Special event on May 20-Ministry Fair- 9:15-10:15 and after second service.
