Love your neighbor as yourself

Throughout our lives, the Lord strengthens us for the journey to follow Him! God’s angel encouraged Elijah to eat for his journey and expected him to follow Elisha unconditionally (1 Kings 19). David prays for the Lord to keep him safe and give him refuge along his path (Psalm 16: 1). Although our journey may be challenging, Jesus assures us that “life by the Spirit” is “fulfilled by keeping the command ‘Love your neighbor as yourself” (Galatians 5: 15). Remember the “fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control” (Galatians: 5: 23).

Join us! Worship- Sunday, 8 AM and 10:30 AM. Pastor’s Bible Study: Luther’s Small Catechism, Faith in Christ! 9:15 AM (Fellowship Hall).
