The coming of the Messiah is foretold in Zechariah 9 (verses 9-12) with His humble entrance riding on a donkey and bringing peace and salvation to Israel and to us. Psalm 145 (verses 1-4) praises our God for His goodness and love and should be taught to our children generation after generation. In Romans 7 (verses 14-25), the Apostle Paul describes the constant battle we daily face between good and evil wanting good and doing otherwise, but our faith in Jesus will save us. In Matthew 11 (verses 25-30) Jesus declares, “for my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
