The miracle of Easter parallels the rescue of the Israelites from Pharaoh as written in Exodus 15 (verses 1-11) singing praises to God for His power and might. Psalm 118 (verses 15-29) acknowledges God’s goodness and love for us. Through repentance and humility, we are told in 1 Corinthians 5 (verses 6-8), to put away evil thoughts and malice towards others. In John 20 (verses 1-18), we read of Mary Magdalene’s glorious encounter with the risen Lord Jesus on Easter morning.
