In Jeremiah 31 (7-9) the Prophet predicts the gathering of Israelites back to their homeland in safety and contentment and Psalm 126 is a song of joy, also about the return from captivity bringing comfort and well being to Israel. Hebrews 7( 23-28) tells of Jesus, our High Priest, whose sacrifice on the cross brought an end to daily sacrifices required by the Law. Mark 10 (46-52) brings to us the beautiful story of blind Bartimaeus and the restoring of his sight by Jesus because of his faith in Him.
