Redemption and Hope

Isaiah 35:1-10 looks ahead to a future of redemption and hope. The reader encounters similar reassurances in Psalm 146 with the poet’s words, “The Lord lifts up those who are bowed down” (146:8). James’ letter is also a reminder to be patient during life’s trials (James 5:7-11). Matthew 11: 2-15, refers to John the Baptist, a man of great faith. All four passages serve as tender reminders of the presence and promise of Immanuel (God with us)!
