Moses directs the Israelites in Deuteronomy 4 verses 1-2/6-9 to seal and remember in their hearts God’s covenant with them, neither adding or taking away its content. In Psalm 119 verses 129-136, we further learn that God’s covenant guides and steadies our steps along life’s pathway here on earth. Ephesians 6 verses 10-20 tells us to equip ourselves with the armor of God allowing us to battle forces of evil that surround us. In Mark 7 verses 14-23, Jesus describes the sinful nature of man, declaring to His disciples that what comes out of a person defiles him or her, evil thoughts, envy, and other Satan conceived temptations.
