The Epiphany

The Epiphany of our Lord Jesus Christ is foretold throughout Scripture starting in Isaiah Chapter 60 (verses 1-6), telling us of wise men coming from the East bearing gifts. Again, in Psalm 72 (verses 1-11) we are told of kings bringing gifts and paying tribute to the Son of God. Paul the Apostle in Ephesians Chapter 3 (verses 1-12) tells them of his mission to bring Christ to the Gentiles and in Matthew Chapter 2 (verses 1-12) the story of the Magi following the Star to where Jesus was born with gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh and worshiping Him. May your New Year be filled with God’s blessings of JOY!
