The Return of the Exiles

The Prophet Isaiah in Chapter 35 (4-7) foretells the return of the exiles to their homeland bringing God’s forgiveness and protection. Psalm 146 emphasizes that our trust rests in the Lord and not what the world offers. In reading James 2 (1-16) we learn that faith without works avails us nothing and is contrary to God’s commandment to love your neighbor. Jesus’ love for gentiles is clearly shown in Mark 7 (24-37) when he removes a demon from a Syrophonician girl and heals a deaf mute from Decapolis.

Join us for worship: Saturday 4 PM, Sunday 8 AM & 10:30 AM. Bible Study: 9:15 AM.
