Turn Away From Evil

We are told in Joshua 24 verses 14-18 to serve the Lord God only. Psalm 34 verses 12-22 tell us to turn away from evil, deceit and other wickedness but do good showing love, kindness and understanding toward our neighbor which is pleasing in God’s sight.  These thoughts are further expressed in Ephesians 5 verses 6-21 where we daily struggle to do good and must call upon the Lord to help us since we are weak and need His Holy guidance. John 6 verses 51-69 reveal through the words spoken by the Lord Jesus that our faith in Him comes only as a gift from God.

Please join us for worship- Sunday, 8 AM and 10:30 AM.  Attend Pastor’s Bible Study: Luther’s Small Catechism, Faith in Christ! Sunday 9:15 AM (Fellowship Hall).
