A little about Trinity Hope
The country of Haiti is the poorest country in the western hemisphere. Hurricanes over the past few years, plus an earthquake in 2010, have devastated the Haitian people with the loss of precious human life, property, and crops. They have extreme trials to endure. Their voodoo beliefs will not help them; however, Jesus Christ can! It is so important that the Gospel continue to be preached through the Trinity/HOPE program which feeds the starving Haitian children with nourishment for their bodies and food for their souls. Trinity/HOPE is a ministry that feeds 20,000 hungry children, teachers and cooks each day in Christian schools spread throughout Haiti.
SOTH is a long time supporter
SOTH has supported this ministry for over a decade through offerings at Bible studies, and through an annual “Pig Roast.” This year, due to anticipated construction in the Fellowship Hall, the event- “Hoedown for Haiti” will be a joint event with the Board of Fellowship and held at The Marlow Barn. Denise Gudlin, Operations Manager, of Trinity/HOPE will be the guest speaker and will present an overview of the feeding program and an up-to-date annual progress report. A pulled pork dinner with side dishes and dessert will be provided. The Fellowship Board will be providing entertainment. An informative and fun evening is planned. Through Trinity/HOPE, your generosity brings food, education, and the Gospel to children, who often minister to their parents.
