Walk in the Light and Goodness of God

Isaiah 50 (verses 4-10) asks us to walk in the light and goodness of God and turn away from wickedness. Jesus’ sacrifice to save us and to deliver Israel from its bondage is symbolically described in Psalm 116 verses 4-10. How direct are the words of James 3 (verses 1-12) “We say we love God, but can so easily curse our brother.” Rather we should live peaceably and responsibly both with God and our brother. Jesus shows His power by removing a demon from a child (Mark 9 verses 14-29). He admonishes those around Him about their weakness of faith.  Lord, help our unbelief!

Please join us for worship- Sunday, 8 AM and 10:30 AM.  Attend Pastor’s Bible Study: Luther’s Small Catechism, Faith in Christ! Sunday 9:15 AM (Fellowship Hall).
